I am a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Meteorology at the University of Reading, working in the Space and Atmospheric Electricity group. My research interests are in space weather and space climate, including:
- Methods of reconstructing past solar activity.
- The statistical description of extreme space weather events, with a focus on Solar Energetic Particle events.
- Characterising Coronal Mass Ejections (CMEs) seen by the Heliospheric Imager instruments aboard the twin NASA STEREO spacecraft. Particularly, working with data from the Solar Stormwatch citizen science project.
- Using data from the Heliospheric Imagers to improve the boundary conditions of numerical models of the solar wind.
